Abstract

The process of international integration has had a strong and comprehensive impact on the operation of the economy as well as the political, cultural, and social life of Vietnam, including the field of law and especially labor law. The labor law is an important part of any country's legal system, formed and developed along with socio-economic development. Therefore, in the current process of deep and comprehensive integration, Vietnam's labor law has been having certain impacts. Accordingly, integration and development have impacted the continuous change and improvement of Vietnam's labor law starting from the 6th National Congress of the Party until now. In addition to the achievements in the implementation process to meet the requirements of international labor standards and contribute to harmonizing labor relations to adapt to a fluctuating economy, today, Vietnam’s labor law still has some limitations, which need to be gradually overcome in the future. This article focuses on researching the impact of international integration on the development of Vietnam's labor law in each period, the achievements as well as limitations in regulations. From those impacts, the article offers some proposals to perfect Vietnam's labor law, contributing to the current strong international integration trend.
